During my summer holidays I sailed with friends around the Island of Skopelos in the Sporades Islands. When we arrived at the harbour of Skopelos I took my camera and went adventuring myself in the small backstreets of the village.
These colourful slides of city and rural environment photographs have been taken in Pekin and its suburbs during the year of 1981.
Sure many thing have changed since in these countries. Hopefully less poverty. But one thing that can still be seen is the cultural work force of India, the beauty of Nepal and the architecture of the mosques in Pakistan.
These photographs express the style of life in the 70s between the North and the South of America. Priceless moments captured through these lenses show tradition, history, wealth and poverty.
The middle east hides the most interesting conquers of human history. Dramatical cultural changes have taken place and still are. Those are the changes that can be observed in 1967.
These slides include earliest memories of my fathers life at kindergarten in 1936.
